Petition to turn sanctioned superyacht into refugee "reception hotel" surfaces online

A change.org petition proposing to convert the 85.6-metre sanctioned superyacht Amore Vero into a "free reception hotel" for Ukranian refugees has been gaining traction online.

The petition calls on the French state and all competent institutions, including the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolis and La Ciotat Shipyard, where the superyacht was seized, to "take all measures to ensure the requisition of the boat and reception of refugees."
