30 April 2024 • Written by Nick Jeffery

The 27.2-metre motor yacht Belle Isle has been sold with Carmen Lau of Camper & Nicholsons representing the seller and James Humphreys and Sam Waller from Yachtsmen representing the buyer.

Built in steel and aluminium by Kingship Marine in China in 2010, she was designed and engineered by Dutch studio Vripack and has an interior by Addison Nelson Design.

Belle Isle was lying in Marmaris, Turkey, and last asking €2,800,000.

Four suites include the master at main deck level, sporting a proper bathtub and enjoying views forward, a VIP double and two twin cabins on the lower deck. Belle Isle has had one owner from new and "the décor has subtle oriental influences, which add a nice detailing against neutral fabrics and handcrafted limed oak cabinetry". There are quarters for a crew of four.

The bright, open plan main saloon leads out to the aft deck where there is a cosy dining table with U-shaped cushioned bench seating aft. Up top, the flybridge offers a mosaic-tiled Jacuzzi and freestanding deckchairs for flexibility, the tenders also being stowed aft, separated by the foldaway crane.

Described as a displacement explorer yacht, Belle Isle has a transatlantic, 4,000 nautical mile range at eight knots and offers a steady ride thanks to her Quantum zero-speed stabilisers.

Cruising speed is 10 knots with a maximum speed of 12 knots, powered by twin 479hp Caterpillars. The 175GT yacht completed her 10-year RINA survey in 2022 and she benefits from an exterior repaint in 2021.

Belle Isle was lying in Marmaris, Turkey, and last asking €2,800,000.
